Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to download anything?
No. Every keyboard on Kactyl runs entirely in your browser. Open the page, click the letters, copy your text — done. Works on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
Can I type in multiple languages?
Yes — each keyboard is on its own page. Open Arabic in one tab, Hindi in another. Switch between them freely without changing any system settings.
Do the keyboards work on mobile?
Yes. All 35 keyboards are fully responsive. Tap letters on the on-screen keyboard, copy your text, and paste directly into WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok or any app.
Is it really free?
100% free, forever. No account, no subscription, no hidden costs. Kactyl is a free tool built to help people type in their native language from any device.
What is RTL and LTR?
RTL (right-to-left) means the text flows from right to left — Arabic, Persian, Urdu use this. LTR (left-to-right) is the direction of most other scripts including Hindi, Korean, Russian.
Can I use the text I type anywhere?
Yes. All text is standard Unicode — the same encoding used by WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Docs, Facebook, Instagram and every modern platform. Copy and paste into any app without compatibility issues.
